Brand story
From a garage to the King of Snow — 93 years
4M+
Sno-Thro snow blowers built since 1960
In 1933, in the depths of the Depression, Henry Ariens and his three sons built the first American-made rotary tiller in a garage in Brillion, Wisconsin. The head office has never left that town, and the company is still family-led — now by Dan Ariens, the founder’s great-grandson, in the fourth generation.
The Sno-Thro two-stage snow blower of 1960 made the company’s name. With more than four million built, it remains the world’s best-selling two-stage snow blower — which is why Americans call Ariens “The King of Snow”: the machine you reach for when the blizzard comes.
Gravely zero-turn mowers are professional machines built around powerful engines to manage expansive lawns and large green spaces quickly. Their zero-turn manoeuvrability and work efficiency make them particularly effective for large-area mowing and grass cutting.

Brush snow remover · PB36

Ariens FAQ
All guides →- Q. What kind of brand is Ariens?
- A snow blower and zero-turn mower brand founded in Wisconsin in 1933 and family-led for four generations. With over four million two-stage snow blowers built it is the world leader; the official Korean distributor is KYUNGJIN IRE (1577-6310).
- Q. Single-stage or two-stage — what is the difference?
- Single-stage machines are light and affordable but suit dry, shallow snow. Two-stage machines gather with an auger and throw with a separate impeller, handling wet, deep snow and larger areas — recommended for Korean conditions.
- Q. Which model should I start with?
- Compact or Deluxe for a home driveway; Platinum or Professional for frequent snow and larger areas; RapidTrak track models for slopes and unpaved drives. Tell us your area and typical snowfall.
- Q. Do you have large machines for institutions?
- Yes. Commercial equipment includes large Professional models and the PB36 brush snow remover. Call 1577-6310 for volume purchases.
- Q. What is the zero-turn line-up?
- Gravely zero-turn mowers are professional machines built around powerful engines to manage expansive lawns and large green spaces quickly. Their zero-turn manoeuvrability and work efficiency make them particularly effective for large-area mowing and grass cutting.
- Q. What about service and parts?
- Genuine parts are stocked and repairs handled at our Cheonan logistics and service centre, with the same long-term parts principle as our other brands.
